Training and preparation of new generations of future users of ESS is a vital task with two aspects; general neutron scattering introductory training for new users and advanced training in new instrumentation and science opportunities at the ESS for expert users.
SINE2020´s Education and Training Activities have as a mission to ensure the efficient use of Neutron facilities by European scientists. To this end, SINE2020 is acting on two fronts:
- e-learning : freely accessible, e-learning modules with online experiment simulation sessions
- Schools : financially supporting neutron scattering schools, organised by European facilities and research institutions, which generally include hands-on sessions at LSF’s
Are you from an industrial company and would like to know more about the applications of neutron scattering? We have got dedicated material for you here .
